Plan changes happen in Settings → Plan & email packs. The Kovyo plan picker shows all four paid tiers (Starter / Growth / Scale / Pro) with the current one highlighted; click any other to switch.
Switching tiers
Free → any paid tier, or paid → another paid tier, is a single click. Shopify Billing handles the proration automatically — if you upgrade mid-period from Starter to Scale, you’re charged the prorated difference; if you downgrade, the credit is applied to your next invoice.
The plan switch takes effect immediately. New limits (emails per month, popup count, etc.) apply from the moment Shopify confirms the charge.
Monthly vs annual
The toggle above the plan grid switches the entire pricing display between monthly and annual. Annual gives ~20% off — same plan, billed up front for 12 months.
Cancelling
Click Cancel subscription at the bottom of the current-plan card. You’ll see a confirmation toast — “Cancellation scheduled — keeps access until the end of the current paid period.”
You keep full access until the end of your paid period. If you change your mind before then, click any paid plan in the picker and the cancellation is reversed.
After the cancellation date
When the paid period ends, your account drops to the Free plan — it’s not deactivated. You keep:
- All your contacts, popups, automations, and historical analytics.
- The ability to send up to 500 emails / month.
- One active popup, one active automation.
If you used Growth/Scale features (multiple popups, A/B test, etc.) those become inactive but aren’t deleted; you can reactivate them by upgrading again.
Billing through Shopify
All charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice — Kovyo bills exclusively through Shopify Billing API, never through a card on file with us. To download invoices: Shopify admin → Settings → Billing.
